Terms for using FakeComment, a free browser-based social media comment mockup toolkit.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FakeComment (the "Service"), a free browser-based toolkit for creating social media comment and chat mockups, plus an optional AI comment writer. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What FakeComment Is

FakeComment helps you create mockup screenshots and related creative assets for content creation, education, design, and marketing planning. The Service is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Twitch, or CapCut.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use FakeComment for mockups, UGC hooks, overlays, pitch decks, educational examples, and similar creative work.

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate real people, brands, or celebrities in a deceptive way
  • Present generated comments or screenshots as real evidence, reviews, or testimonials
  • Use the Service for harassment, hate speech, fraud, or misinformation
  • Violate the terms of any social platform you reference in your work
  • Attempt to abuse rate limits, disrupt the Service, or access systems without authorization

4. Accounts

Accounts are optional for core mockup tools. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

5. AI Writer and Limits

The AI Fake Comment Writer may enforce a free daily generation limit. Output is generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate or inappropriate; review it before use. We do not guarantee uniqueness or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Payments

If paid plans are offered later, pricing, billing, and cancellation terms will be shown at checkout. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another named provider. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

FakeComment's website, branding, and original software are owned by us. You retain rights to the mockups and text you create with the tools. Platform names and UI designs belong to their respective owners and are referenced only for mockup fidelity.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FakeComment is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
